Several senior Israeli political analysts have noted that the Israeli media is being heavily influenced by the Qatar based Al Jazeera network which has been portraying the uprising in Egypt as a foregone conclusion.
Dr. Guy Bechor writing in Globes notes that instead of the peoples' revolution depicted in the media, Egypt has undergone a military putsch and is now controlled by the army. Meanwhile Reuben Barko writing in Israel Hayom newspaper notes that that Al Jazeera has been fomenting Islamic revolutions in pro-Western Arab states.
