Most of the indexes on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange posted modest or moderate gains on Thursday. Leading the way was the real estate index, which rose 1.77 percent to 362.94, followed by the 50 stocks below the TA 100, which finished the day at 468.25, up 1.4 percent. Biomed issues rose .38 percent to 1,023.71.
Buoyed by those figures, the TA composite index rose .35 percent to 1,239.20, while the TA 100 closed at 1,240.79, up .29 percent. The Teltech index slipped .15 percent to 256.05, while the financial institutions closed at 1,294.80, down .46 percent.
