Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday at a cabinet meeting dealing with the changing composition of the government that, "the coalition today is getting stronger and it is important that I appoint people to important ministerial positions that are suitable for the job according to their skills and experience."
Netanyahu stressed that current Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai will head the new Ministry for Homefront Protection which will operate under the Ministry of Defense. The cabinet ministers unanimously approved the changes in the government.
