Relatives and friends of Yitzchak and Talya Imes of the Judean Jewish community of Beit Haggai expressed shock Thursday evening at reports that a suspect in the murder of the couple, Kochava Even-Chaim, and Avishai Shindler on August 31st had been freed.
In a statement, the relatives said, "We call on the security forces to take advantage of the situation and eliminate the freed terrorist." They also called on the government of Israel to act firmly to strengthen and reinforce the settlement of Jews in all of the land of Israel and cut off all contact with the terrorist authority, which releases terrorists and thereby gives a green light to other terror attacks."
