London's Daily Telegraph reported Monday evening that three Arabs who worked at the British consulate in Jerusalem are suspected of selling weapons to the planners of an attack on Teddy Stadium. The British Foreign Office confirmed the details and said it is gathering information on two people arrested in the case. It added that the workers had been approved according to consulate and Israeli rules.
On Sunday it was disclosed that the Shabak Israel Security Agency and the police had arrested to residents of the Beit Tsafafa neighborhood of southern Jerusalem on suspicion of plotting to launch a missile at the stadium during a game of Beitar Jerusalem. Beitar games can draw more than 12,000 people to the stadium.
