Negev resident Camal Abu-Ayash came to the Ayarot police station Tuesday, armed with a kitchen knife, and said he wanted to murder one of its officers. He repeated the claim under interrogation.
Abu-Ayash had previously been convicted by the Be'er Sheva Magistrates Court of making threats, illegal possession of a knife and violation of a court order.
