A special apartment has recently been inaugurated at Kibbutz Rosh Tzurim in Gush Etzion. The apartment is specifically for adults with special needs and its purpose is to allow them to engage in residential and community integration. The apartment was built as part of a project by Sadna, which offers individuals with special needs a chance for being in a regular framework with regular individuals.
The new apartment was named "Nachshon House" in memory of the late Nachshon Porat, an adult with special needs who died last year and was part of the Sadna project. The apartment is located close to the homes of several families on the kibbutz, who serve as a bridge for the absorption of the adults in the community and at work.
