A 19-year-old Golan Heights Druze who studied in Syria was transferred to Israel Friday morning via the Kuneitra crossing to receive treatment for a stroke, according to Kol Yisrael government radio.
The Red Cross assisted with the transfer, which was made in coordination with the Israel Defense Forces. The Population and Immigration Authority issued a special permit.
