Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, presented certificates of appreciation to PA firefighters who assisted in putting out the fire in the Carmel.

Abbas thanked the firefighters for their efforts and said that the fire "was a tragedy for our neighbors and it was our duty was to preserve human life and save the environment. We will never hesitate to provide humanitarian aid since that is our humanitarian duty."
