The Environmental Protection Ministry is warning of concerns about heavy air pollution around the country following this weekend's dust storms. Since Shabbat, heavy concentrations of breathable particles in monitoring stations from the center of the country south, due to dust being blown in from Egypt, among other sources.
While the amount of dust is expected to go down during the afternoon, officials are warning against outdoor exertion for people with heart and lung problems, senior citizens, children and pregnant women.
