The UN General Assembly will discuss a draft resolution submitted by Libya, which calls for support in establishing a single Palestinian state and implementing what the Arabs call the right of return - the demand by Arabs who fled Israel during the War of Independence to come back to the country along with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren born since.

The proposal speaks of the international community's commitment to the implementation of a "just, permanent and inclusive resolution to the conflict in Palestine based on the solution of one state in Palestine that would be demilitarized and live in peace with its neighbors." In addition, the draft resolution emphasizes the right of PA Arabs to return to their homes and lands inside Israel.
