Wikileaks: American Nukes Stationed in Europe

In yet another document released by Wikileaks Tuesday, a State Department cable confirms that American nuclear weapons were stationed in four European countries – Germany, Holland, Belgium, and Turkey. The cable with this information was sent in 2009 from the U.S. embassy in Berlin to the State Department, which portrayed a meeting between American officials and Germany's national security advisor – who, the cable said, was worried about American plans to remove 20 nuclear weapons from German soil, “while Russia has hundreds” of weapons aimed at Germany.
