A senior worker at an Iranian nuclear power plant in the city of Isfahan, who was kidnapped a month and a half ago by an Iranian rebel group, said in a video clip distributed by the Iranian group that Tehran's main aim in developing a nuclear program was to acquire nuclear weapons. The video clip was broadcast over the weekend by Arab media.

The worker described the procedures he and others followed, according to a plan that clearly stated that the goal was achieving nuclear weapons capability. The worker said that staff had often been subject to motivational lectures about how important it was for Iran to acquire nuclear weapons, since Israel and the United States had them too.
