Jordan funded recently-completed maintenance work at 11 schools in eastern Jerusalem, according to a report this week in the Palestinian Authority newspaper Al-Hyat Al-Jadida. The schools belong to the Jordanian holy-place office.
The work on the buildings was part of a project by Queen Raina which was started in April to support the education system in the area. The project also includes programs in the fields of health, technology and teacher training.
