Rabbis in Bnei Brak, including synagogue and neighborhood rabbis, have signed a document calling on residents of the Tel Aviv suburb not to rent to undocumented foreign workers.
Calling the phenomenon a "terrible outbreak", the document says that those who rent to foreign workers will bear the responsibility of "the spiritual disaster" that follows, while those who don't "will dwell securely and be inscribed in the Book of Life."
