A poll made public at the Sderot Social Affairs Conference has revealed the public’s faith or lack of faith in various institutions. Leading the list of those insititutions in which the public had little trust was the media. This was followed by politicians and the Histadrut labor union.
Leading the list of those insititutions engendering confidence was the healthcare system, the IDF, friends and family. The poll also found that 70% of the public believe that Israel is the best place to live in the world.
