Margalit Har Shefi, who was convicted of failing to prevent the assassination of Prime Minister Rabin, got engaged on Sunday. Her father, Dov Har Shefi, told Arutz7 that his daughter got engaged to Motti Dahan, a resident of Beer Sheva with a master's degree in economics, who is currently studying at a Chabad yeshiva.

Har Shefi's name recently made headlines, after several public officials sent a letter to the Attorney General to consider calling for a new trial in her case.
