Steinitz Welcomes Government Committee Against Cartels

Finance Minister Dr. Yuval Steinitz welcomed the decision reached Wedensday evening, in conjunction with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, to establish a government committee to examine the issue of concentration of control in the Israeli economy.



Two committees will be established, one headed by Prime Minister’s Office director Eyal Gabbai and the other by Ministry of Finance director Haim Shani. The committees will each include seven members and submit its recommendations to the Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Governor of the Bank of Israel.
