A senior Hamas terrorist was among two eliminated and an undisclosed number arrested by the Israel Defense Forces in the Jabal Johar neighborhood next to Kiryat Arba Friday morning, in a gunfight that resulted from an eight-hour operation that started shortly after midnight. It had been reported that one of the terrorists was killed when the house he was holed up in was demolished.
The senior terrorist, whose identity has not been disclosed, is believed to be behind the murder of four Beit Chaggai Jews, among other attacks in recent months.
