The dollar continued to sink against the shekel. The dollar closed Tuesday at its lowest level since September 2008, at NIS 3.618, 0.27% lower than when it opened. The Bank of Israel bought some $200 million on the currency markets in order to stem an even greater drop.
The euro rose against the shekel by 0.19%, closing at NIS 4.984.
