Turkey Plans to Launch Spy Satellite

Turkey said Tuesday that it plans to launch a spy satellite by 2012. According to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the satellite will be used chiefly to gather data for use against Kurdish rebels.
