On Yom Kippur eve, just before the fast, David Feiglin,16, woke from his coma and said “Shalom” to his father. David, son of politician Moshe Feiglin, was seriously injured in a car accident three months ago and had not woken up since. "I received my son anew," said Moshe in response.
Since that moment David's condition has improved gradually. He can now say "Dad", "Yes" and "No" and on Sukkot was released for 24 hours to be home with his family. However, the Feiglin’s know this is just beginning. "He still has a very long way to go to get back to himself," said his father Moshe.
