The Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of the “Police Avengers” from Nahariya, who were sentenced by the District Court to one year in prison for placing a bomb in the car of a local crime lord.

"The appellants, who were witnesses to law breaking were expected to act differently in the face of the harsh reality that prevailed in Nahariya. They should not have used the same means used by those who tried to threaten them," wrote the judges.
