A plea-bargain agreement is developing between prosecutors and Anat Kam, who was charged with passing classified information to Haaretz reporter Uri Blau when she left the army, according to a Monday evening report by Channel 2 television. Under the agreement, Kam will admit to a revised charge that does not include "the intention of harming state security." The agreement, which does not address a sentence, is expected to be presented to the court system next week.

The station also reported progress between the state and attorneys for Blau, who fled the country to avoid prosecution.
