Teva informed investors Tuesday that a U.S. judge had rejected a petition by its rivals to invalidate Teva's patents on multiple sclerosis drug Copaxone. The ruling ensures that Novartis and Momenta Pharmaceuticals, who have been seeking to launch a generic version of Copaxone, will be unable to do so until at least 2012. Shares of Teva were up 2% Tuesday on the news.
