Israel's former UN ambassador Danny Gillerman came out against the deportation of illegal youths and their families, as decided by the government last month. Speaking to Yediot Achronot, Gillerman said that the deportations “will cause a great deal of damage to Israel's image. I thank G-d that I am not representing Israel in the UN right now.” Gillerman was attending a protest Tuesday against the deportations.
