US Envoy to the Middle East George Mitchell expressed his satisfaction at Thursday's ceremony which kicked off the direct talks between Israel and the PA.

Mitchell said that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and PA President Mahmoud Abbas will meet again in the Middle East in less than two weeks, on the 14th and 15th of September. The two sides have committed to meeting once every two weeks.
