Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Thursday that real peace will be achieved between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) via real and painful concessions by both sides. At a ceremony at the United States Department of State to mark the resumption of direct talks between the two sides, Netanyahu said that he and the Israeli people were prepared to go a long way in a short amount of time to achieve such a peace, intended to bring security, prosperity and good neighborly relations.
Referring to the fatal terror attack at Beit Hagai Tuesday night, the prime minister turned to PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and said that his condemnation of the incident was important, but the murderers must be caught and further attacks must be prevented.
