MK Moshe Matalon, a member of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, visited the home of the parents of Avishai Schindler, who was murdered in the terrorist attack Tuesday near Hevron.

Commenting on the attack, Matalon said that “the idea of talking peace while conducting terror shootings is a unique Palestinian innovation that we cannot ignore. I am positive that the IDF and security forces will eventually catch the murderous terrorists who conducted the attack. Only with a strong reaction and total intolerance of all attempts at violence will we eventually be able to conduct true peace negotiations. But as things now stand, we will miss the opportunity to arrive at a long-term security arrangement if we restrain ourselves from reacting to the attacks of the past several days,” he added.
