Top Fatah terrorist Mohammed Dahlan told Arabic media Thursday that he believed the talks in Washington between Israel and the PA were doomed to failure. Dahlan said that the issues being discussed – particularly demands by the PA that Jerusalem be divided, and that descendants of refugees who fled Israel in 1948 be allowed to return to Israel – are essentially irresolvable. Dahlan added that the PA did not receive any promises or guarantees from the US, and the PA chief Mahmoud Abbas did not even want to attend the talks, but was forced to by the Arab League.
