Nabil Sha'at, a member of PA chief Mahmoud Abbas' negotiating team in the Washington talks, said that President Barack Obama promised Abbas that he would work to extend the building freeze in Judea and Samaria. He told Israel Radio that the PA was serious about the negotiations, although they believed that working with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was “difficult.”
