A Channel 10 News poll has found that a large majority of Israelis don’t believe that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas,has serious intentions to reach a peace agreement with Israel. Some 60% thought he was not serious, 23% said he was, and 17% dont know. In contrast, the poll found that 50% believed that Prime Minister Netanyahu had serious intentions, while 34% thought he was not serious and 15% did not know.
News 10 political commentator, Raviv Drucker explained that the data showed it would be difficult, in terms of domestic public opinion, for Netanyahu to make major concessions.
