Interior Minister and Shas Chairman Eli Yishai responded Wednesday to Defense Minister Ehud Barak, who promised that the children of illegal foreign workers would not be deported.
Yishai said that, "I remind Barak that he is the Minister of Defense and responsible for the fact that a fence has not yet been built to block infiltrators. Instead of intervening in the discretion of the Minister of Interior, he should do his job. The illegal foreigners and their children will return to their country of origin."
