The Yad L'Achim organization held a special Shabbat dinner for women who used to live in Arab towns. The group says the Jewish women were in relationships with Arab men and ended up living in remote Arab communities against their will. Yad L'Achim says the women are unable to leave upon their own accord and engages in covert operations to smuggle the women out.

The dinner was also a preparation for an upcoming High Holiday service for the women. Yad L'Achim chairman Rabbi Shalom Dov Lifshitz said that most of the Jewish women fall prey to the romantic advances of Arab men and unknowingly end up living in strict Arab-Muslim homes.
