The fact that one of the victims of Tuesday's terror attacks was stripped of his personal weapon by a special police unit commanded by Shai Nitzan and operating in Judea and Samaria proves, says MK Ze'ev Elkin, that the unit is carrying out its mission to ensure calm in Judea and Samaria in a very discriminatory manner – discrimination that very likely cost the victim his life.

“The unit operates without authority and in contradiction to decisions of the government. I will once again ask Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein to get involved and order that the unit stop all its operations while its mission and activities are reconsidered,” Elkin said.
