PA Arabs told Israeli media Tuesday night that they believed Hamas was behind the attack in the Hevron area, in an attempt to interfere with the directs talks between Israel and the PA. In a statement, Hamas said that it was Fatah that was to blame for the attack.
Speaking in an interview, Yesha Council official Naftali Bennet said that the attack had nothing to do with talks, but with the fact that Arabs “want to kill Jews, as they have for the past 100 years. I suggest that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu turn his plane around and come home to deal with the situation. Experience teaches us over and over again that when we show weakness by freezing people's lives and granting 'gestures' we are reminded of who we are dealing with.”
