President Shimon Peres said Tuesday morning that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyhahu's trip to the United States is "the most important mission of our time". Referring to the establishment of a demilitarized Palestinian Authority state next to Israel during the opening session of the World Jewish Congress in Jerusalem, Peres said, "All the other solutions are dangerous."
The president said, "I am impressed that Prime Minister Netanyahu is aware of the size of the task ahead of him and is ready for the opportunity."
