Dozens of artists, authors and politicians have added their names to Saturday night's letter calling for a boycott of the new cultural center in Ariel because of the city's location in Samaria, according to a Tuesday report by Channel 2 television.
Author Natan Zach told the station he did not blame those who withdrew their signatures, explaining that one's income is important. He continued, "But if income was also important in Germany and Russia then the conscientious people would have stayed there and said 'Heil Hitler'."
