Speaking at Sunday's cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said that there was no change in the decision to commence building in all of Judea and Samaria when the building freeze expires, at the end of September. Netanyahu stressed that the stance of Minister Dan Meridor on a partial continuation of the freeze was a personal stance.
At the meeting, Netanyahu slammed performers who signed a letter that they would refuse to perform in the new center for performing arts in Ariel. “Israel is under constant attacks to delegitimize it on the international front, including organizing academic and economic boycotts. The last thing we need is an internal boycott. The government does not have to fund boycotts against Israeli citizens,” he said.PM
