Egyptian sources said Saturday that police had seized 190 surface to air missiles that were to have been smuggled into Gaza. The missiles were found in warehouses in central Sinai. In addition to the missiles, police seized other weapons, including automatic rifles, bombs and mines for use against tanks.

Earlier this month, five Grad rockets were fired at Eilat and Aqaba, from Sinai. After initial denials, Egypt admitted that the rockets were fired from Sinai, and confirmed that Gaza Arabs were behind the attack.
