Two recent Rasmussen Reports polls reveal the sharp contrast in which Americans view Israel and Iran.
The first poll taken between August 9-10 found that 60% of Americans see Israel as an ally and only 4% see her as an enemy. The second poll taken between August 17-18 found that 57% of Americans viewed Iran as an enemy and only 2% saw it as an ally. In addition the poll found that 51% believe that if Israel attacks Iran, the United States should help Israel.
