Some Israeli political commentators say that it is not a coincidence that direct talks between Israel and the PA are scheduled to begin the week after Iran inaugurated its first ever nuclear power plant at Bushehr.

They say U.S. President Barak Obama began his candidacy by linking the Arab-Israeli conflict with Iran’s nuclear program and that the only way he will agree to attack Iran is if Israel agrees to a PA state.
