Israel will be experiencing a heat wave Thursday until Shabbat. Temperatures will cool of slightly by Shabbat.

Ministry of Health recommends that the general public and the elderly population in particular, to avoid unnecessary physical exertion and to drink water frequently.

Electricity demand reached a new high on Thursday due to the usage of air conditioners and fans. The public is asked to electrical appliances such as stoves, washing machines, vacuum cleaners and the like only in the early morning and late evening hours.
