IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi publicly addressed Wednesday, for the first time ever, the "Galant" document detailing a PR campaing to promote an IDF General as the new Chief of Staff.
Speaking at a graduation ceremony at an officers school Ashkenazi said, "This affair affects all of us as well as those involved in it, but worst of all it affects the confidence of the people of Israel in its security."
"We are responsible to protect the people of Israel and must prove to them that we are trustworthy," said Ashkenazy.
