A Jewish father of three was among the victims of a shooting at Hartford Distributors in Connecticut in the United States. Louis Felder, age 50, was among the eight victims shot by disgruntled employee Omar Thornton. The wine and beer distributor was owned by the Jewish Hollander family.
“The Hollander family is probably one of the most venerated families in the Hartford area in the Jewish community," U.S. Rep. John Larson (D-Conn.) told the Hartford Courant newspaper. "There isn’t a charity that they haven’t contributed to.”
