President Barack Obama has extended the emergency regulations according to which the assets of individuals who collaborate with Hezbollah will be frozen.

In a message to Congress, Obama said that while there have been positive developments in relations between Syria and Lebanon, the continued transfer of weapons to Hezbollah undermines Lebanon's sovereignty.
