A preliminary investigation by the Air Force into the helicopter crash in Romania has revealed that the helicopter apparently hit the side of a mountain.
During the flight, the two helicopters encountered a cloud formation and were seperated. The second helicopter managed to escape the cloud, but the first one apparently crashed in an attempt to climb out of it. During the climb, it hit the side of a mountain or a rock wall and crashed.
