Land of Israel activists suspect leftwingers of being behind the Arab riots in the City of David last night. They note that coinciding with the riots, posters appeared all over Jerusalem with the picture of Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and the heading "Barkat is handing Jerusalem over to the settlers".

Dozens of Arabs rioted in Jerusalem's City of David (Silwan) neighborhood Tuesday night over the Kings Garden park project which calls for demolishing some 30 illegal Arab homes and legalizing dozens of others. The rioters attacked Border Patrol officers. No injuries were reported, and police were able to track down and apprehend at least one suspect.
