A delegation of seven Israeli companies is scheduled to travel to Taiwan this week to exhibit Israeli technology that can be integrated with Taiwanese electronic products being marketed around the world. The visit is the initiative of the commercial attache of the Ministery of Industry, Commerce and Labor in Taiwan and the hi-tech department of the Israeli Export Institute.
Commercial Attache Ophir Gur said on Sunday that the Israeli companies will visit the headquarters of Acer and Asus, two of the top five computer companies in the world, as well as Quanta and HTC, among others. Gur added, "The Taiwanese are looking for anything that will give them an edge in this competitive field, and Israeli innovation is appreciated here."
