A Hamas security official told reporters on Wednesday that security forces are rounding up suspected collaborators with Israel, and that so far five people in the Hamas-controlled Gaza region have been arrested in overnight raids.

He added suspects will go to trial and that no mercy will be shown. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the arrests.
